I read this latest news on yahoo about the Baby Einstein scam, that says Disney is offering refunds for its controversial videos. I am a mom of 1 toddler and 2 month old baby but I never seen a single video of Baby Einstein. Although, I heard a lot of things about this Baby Einstein on Tv on how they can help with our kids learning span. Apparently, all those puppets, bright colors, and songs were what we had feared all along—a mind-numbing way to occupy infants.

According to the article, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children under two years old stay away from watching screens. In the letter threatening Disney with a class-action lawsuit for “deceptive advertising,” public health lawyers hired by Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood cited a study which found a link between early television exposure and later problems with attention span.

I found a baby Einstein music cd in our bargain store here for $5 only, to help sooth the baby when they sleep and it work for awhile with Jake though.
