Trade Toys and Olympus is mine

Samsung WB150F

It’s not the Mt. Olympus or the home of Olympian Gods of the ancient Greek world that I have in possession now, it’s the Olympus camera. I actually switched my Samsung camera that I bought early this year with my friend’s camera. Husband, kids and I went on a two weeks vacation to the Philippines last month. I got to see some of my closest friends again and one of them is Yvonne, a former co-teacher and friend.
Olympus Camera

She liked my Samsung camera and I like the olympus camera. I never had olympus camera and I’m thinking i can buy a new Samsung camera if I want too. There is sime features in olympus camera that I like plus it totally fits in my old camera case. What camera brand do you like best?

Photography Through Different Camera & Lens (Pictures overload)

Photography is the art, science, and practice of creating durable images by recording light (photons – hence, “photo”-graphy) or other electromagnetic radiation, either chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film, or electronically by means of an image sensor. Photography has many uses for business, science, manufacturing (e.g. photolithography), art, recreational purposes, and mass communication. A camera is a device that records images that can be stored directly, transmitted to another location, or both. The term camera comes from the word camera obscura (Latin for “dark chamber”), an early mechanism for projecting images. The modern camera evolved from the camera obscura. Source: Wikipedia

We lost count already how many types of cameras we have today in the 21st century since the time it was invented. I do not know the different types, models, names of the cameras unless I Google it or search it in Wikipedia. Camera involves and it continued to change through many generations of photographic technology. There were various types of camera from when it was invented and started. Anyway, as of now I have owned five different types of digital camera. The latest one is the Samsung Wb150F with 18x optical zoom, 14.2 megapixels, 3.0 intelligent LCD (hVGA) and Wi-Fi connectivity. Because of the advancement of technology we can now send pictures from our camera to our email address and of course save it on the computer and whatever. I love everything about this new camera that I bought on eBay. Thanks to a friend who sort of share this type/brand of camera. The color is nice and the picture is very clear.

It was August 2011 when I decided to buy a new camera – NIKON D3100. At that time, DSLR was really a hit and now it still is. I love the DSLR but sometimes it is too bulky to carry around. Below are the pictures taken with Nikon D3100 lens 18-55mm.

It was January 2011, my first baby-the Sony digital camera that I bought from a free gift card to CSN store now wayfair through blogging/product review. It is technically free because I did not spent a penny for this and I only blogged something about the store. Just recently I dropped this camera on the floor and it stop working. I can still open and close it but it stop taking picture. It was a good camera while it lasted.

It was October 2010 when I bought a second hand FinePix S1500 camera from a very good friend. I enjoyed that camera and I loved it. But then my sister wanted a camera so I decided to gave it to her since I had other digicam at that time and was planning to buy a new one. The Fine Pix S1500 was a really cool camera and I love the B&W feature in and so was the panorama.

When my husband and I got married we did not have much enough money. My mother had been helping us and gave us money to buy a digital camera so we bought a KODAK Z1275 ZOOM DIGITAL CAMERA at Walmart. The Kodak camera still working up until now but as it gets old, it also not doing great. My son had been using that camera to practice taking picture. Below were some of the pictures I took using the Kodak easy share camera.

Date: 1/2/07
Camera: KODAK Z1275 ZOOM DIGITAL CAMERA
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/3.8
Focal Length: 22.05 mm
ISO Speed: 64

I wonder what type of camera i will be able to buy next time. But I doubt if I will be able to buy a new camera anytime soon. Thanks to blogging opportunity I get the luxury to buy nice camera. Without blogging i would probably still be using our Kodak easy Share camera.
