Why June becomes the wedding bells season? Why not December or May? Well, according to my source the tradition of being married in June started in the 1500's, and that tradition held fast until recent years, with brides deviating from the traditional June wedding, and planning their nuptials for other months.

How did the June wedding become so popular?
In the 1500's, people took their yearly baths in May, when the weather warmed up.
By June, they were still fairly clean and smelled pretty good, compared to the rest of the year. However, body odor had returned, so the bride's carried a bouquet of fresh flowers to mask the scent of the body odor. June weddings and bridal bouquets started because people only took a bath once a year in May.

This is what I found when I search online why people preferably women wants to be wed or married in June. Malware and Trojan attack

I made a post few weeks ago when our computer got infected with Trojan virus and am decided not to do some entrecard dropping for a while. Last week I asked babger if I could used the computer for ec dropping. I only reciprocate those who dropped entrecard that found in my inbox. I haven't reached 200 drops yet when I click on this site (picture above) and a pop up ads and script that says scan my computer for virus threat. I was alarmed and stopped dropping the entrecards. The next day I dropped ec again and it went well although I did not finish the 300 maximum drops. And then yesterday (Monday) I wasn't even seriously dropping my entrecard but I logged in to my entrecard account when I click a site of free template another pop up that did an instant scan without me clicking ok yet. I closed the browser and another browser pop out and other then a script came out that says Malware and Trojan high jack attack you need to scan your computer. I restart the computer twice and still the same message keep on popping out and it leads to some kind of order now or register. I think those people who sell anti virus or something distribute computer virus to have their software sold. I did not able to blog yesterday coz we couldn't removed it from our computer. Hubby has to do some reformat just to have it removed. I have decided now not to use the entrecard. It is not safe for our computer and we can't afford to buy a new one. I hope those heartless people who love to ruin other people’s lives by distributing viruses to different computer should be considerate and stop this annoying and low life kind of thing.

My first time in a foreign country was when I went to Japan for 10 days vacation. That was my first time ever to travel out in the country by myself. Japan is a very nice country and very clean. That experienced open my senses of how wonderful to live abroad. I was contented with my job and life back home until one friend of mine invited me to visit Japan. Of course I wanted to see other places so I grabbed the opportunity. I had a great time on my visit. My perception from that visit and the whole foreign idea is different from what I thought my life would be here in US. When I was in that country I thought I would love to live there. Very opposite to what I feel when I came here that I always itching to go back home.

FoodTripFriday - Calamare w/ Tartar Zest

Anyone wants calamare or calamares? Well go to Korean store uphill at squirrel hills Pittsburgh and buy their clean and big squid heheeh. TGIF once again and thank God I finally eaten a bunch of seafood this week. I asked my husband to drive me to korean store so i can buy pancit, bihon, shrimps, mung bean, and other. I had been there many times before but never seen any squid, so when I saw this big squid i grabbed it right away. It cost $5.99 for two pieces of big squid that is already cleaned. I look online for calamare recipe and luckily I found one that is very simple to do. All you need is egg white, lime juice or 5 pieces of lemon for the marinade and fry it in an oil as simple as that. I got tartar zest which is good for seafood dipping and I'm good to go. Even Joe who doesn't eat seafood love it as in loving it. He can't stop eating, he only save four pieces of calamares for me. I'm planning to make a trip again in that store to buy more squid. Beef Tips

Another tasty food and recipe in my junk mails that I want to share ya'll. There's nothing like a mouthwatering meal of easy beef tips for dinner. With just five ingredients, it's a quick fix for a starving family. Tip the dinner menu in your favor.

Ingredients
1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup 7-Up or Sprite

1 cup sliced mushrooms

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

2 lbs. lean chuck roast
Methods/steps

Place beef in crockpot. Pour mushroom soup over meat and top with onion soup mix. Add 7-Up and mushrooms. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve over buttered noodles for best results.

“Seasonal” Allergies

Winter is not over yet but some people who have seasonal allergy have start sneezing already. I have read this information on how to treat or handle seasonal allergy.

True seasonal allergies are those allergies that are caused by specific outdoor factors, such as grass, pollen, trees and outdoor mold spores. As the name implies, these allergies occur during certain seasons, typically in the spring and summer when the trees and plants are in full bloom. If you suffer from seasonal allergies, they likely get much worse during the times your triggers are in the air, and they will get better when the season wanes.

With year-round allergies on the other hand, they seem to remain all year unchanged. This is because they are caused by indoor triggers, such as animal dander, dust mites, mold spores and certain insects. Regardless of the weather outdoors, these factors usually remain unchanged. Therefore, your symptoms likely won’t go away with weather changes.

Treatment Strategies

While the triggers that spur seasonal and year-round allergies are very different, the way you feel from both allergies can be very much the same. That being said, though there are a few main differences worth noting, according to some physicians. First, eye symptoms seem to be associated more often with outdoor/seasonal triggers than with indoor dust and mold spores. Second, people with perennial allergies often have related asthma symptoms. But these factors can differ from person to person.

The treatment strategies for both types of allergies can also be very similar. Many allergists suggest a multi-pronged approach that includes:

* Avoiding the allergens.
* Treating the symptoms with allergy medications.
* Building up an immunity to the triggers by receiving regular allergy shots if needed.

For indoor allergies, you can also take more steps to control your environment and minimize the existence of those things that trigger your reaction. For instance, you can use plastic covers for your mattress and pillows, keep pets out of your bedroom and vacuum regularly. These easy steps can help you feel much better.

While seasonal allergies and year-round ones have different causes, you may think you can only have one or the other. Actually, if you have allergies, you may be susceptible to many triggers that can cut across different categories. Therefore, it is very possible to have your allergies triggered by BOTH indoor and outdoor factors.

Shrimp Linguine with Mushrooms and Garlic

I always get free recipes from mydailymoment.com or MDM's Recipe of the day on the mail. This one looks delicious for shrimp lover people. You might wanna try this at your kitchen.

This recipe won't be prepared in vein. Rich in flavor and ingredients, it doesn't skimp on great taste. It's a seafood pasta that makes for one shell of a meal.

Ingredients
1 lb. peeled & deveined shrimps
3 tbsp. butter
8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
3 med. garlic cloves
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary, crumbled
Freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Salt to taste
4 oz. dried linguine
2 oz. Bel Paese cheese, cut into small cubes
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Methods/steps
Melt butter in a heavy, large skillet over a medium low heat. Add garlic and mushrooms and a generous amount of fresh grated coarse black pepper. Cook until mushrooms exude their juices, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until they are starting to turn pink. Add cream and shrimp until sauce thickens slightly, about 3 minutes and season with salt. Meanwhile, cook pasta in large pot of boiling, salted water. Add oil to water to keep pasta from sticking together. Drain well. Add pasta and cheese to sauce and stir until cheese melts. Transfer to plates. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
