This post brought to you by Snapdragon by Qualcomm. All opinions are 100% mine.
This should be an exciting news to all smartphone enthusiasts and, sorry to burst your bubbles this early, but I am not going to talk about a special offer or a holiday sale of these famed mobile units, but another interesting information altogether.
See, for a short period of time this Christmas season, which begins on the 18th of December, the Qualcomm Stadium will temporarily be renamed the Snapdragon Stadium! Yes, you heard that right, the chip giant from San Diego, which also has held the naming rights on the stadium since 1997, will be momentarily naming it to Snapdragon, a fitting tribute to Snapdragon processors, the brand name for the company’s series of application processors that power smartphones. For those not in the know, Snapdragon processors by Qualcomm are the digital brains inside mobile devices made by the likes of Nokia, HTC, Samsung and LG and other leading manufacturers
Coincidentally, while under its new name, the stadium will be host to a number of exciting events including the Chargers’ Sunday night game against Baltimore, the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on December 21 and the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl which is slated on December 28.
