Nostalgia – My Birth Town

I was feeling so Nostalgic when I saw these photos at my sister’s folder in FB. Part of the reason she posted it there so quick was to make me jealous that they went there. Not jealous the negative side but of course make me feel nostalgic. Anyhow, this place was my home town since birth. We moved out from this place in 1998. I graduated college that year and we had no choice though because the Del Monte INC paid all the private security which my father was one of them. That was one of the painful moment of my life, leaving the place that became part of my life and my friends that I considered family.
I was amazed how the place looks like now.  It is still Del Monte but the company owner is different now.
This is the camp site where we usually hang out, picnic, camping and even dating place.
This area right here, it just used to be a woods where we picked mushrooms, twigs or woods for our dirty kitchen, play hide and sick, pick up some coffee seed and sell them and even the passage going to the pineapple field if we want to steal some pineapples.  I even stepped human feces in this area when we got caught stealing and i tried to run because I was scared that my father would beat me up.
Only one familiar neighbor i see in the picture and that is the one wearing the pink shirt.  When her Husband Died, my Mom always threw me out of the house at night just to sleep with them because she was scared.  They don’t have lights and TV so i always cried everytime my Mom locked me out after throwing em out the door. She is my Mom BFF.
And of course I miss hanging out with my sisters and I missed my younger brother.  It’s been 11 years since the last time we see each other.  He grown to be a fine and successful man.

Broken Heart

I feel sad with my dearest youngest sister right now. Lieza and her boyfriend have been together for like 5 years or less I think, am not sure the exact number though, and their relationship start to falling apart. Her boyfriend migrated to Canada just early this year and working on getting her to Canada as well. But now their plans is uncertain because the guy looks like have found someone else. I am not sure what’s their status right now, if they trying to work their relationship. Those sweet 5 years of being together will just go to waste and i really feel bad for my sissy. She is the sweetest sister, and even if she is the youngest she is very open Minded. She doesn’t deserved to get hurt. She can get along to any of us. I am the eldest but she acts more mature than me. Sometimes i just don’t want to act like the eldest. Anyhow, her heart is close to being broken right now. She already anticipated that this situation will come, but still love hurts isn’t it? Stupid Love! lol.
That’s he “Lieza” but we call him inday as she is our lil sistah.
With my other sister Weng, who is also have her own personal problem. haiizz what a life!
That’s the other sister, the one in Vegas.
And of course the ugly duckling in the family that grown up to be a brown duckie instead of a swan waaaa. LMAO

Meet my younger Bro

I have introduced before my siblings and again I just want to share about my little bro. He is the 2nd sibs from the youngest. The last time we see each other was 10 years ago. Yeah 10 years, it was year 2000 when I decided to go back to Cebu and that time my Mom transferred him to general Santos city and had my military uncle discipline him as he started to cut classes and hang out with friends who used drugs. When you are a student it’s hard to come home to your hometown and spend a long vacation with your family. That’s what my brother’s situation when he stayed at my uncles place. So, we never got the chance to came home at the same time. I snatched his pictures at his Facebook photo album. I can’t believed how this little guy turn out to be fine young man with successful life and career.

He works as a manager in one of the established food chain in General Santos Philippines. He now drives his own car and travel to different places in the Philippines. When you live in a third world country it pretty hard to buy your own car as the minimum wage there is not enough to support your personal needs and luxury. He able to get his own car because our big bro who works abroad helped him with the payments. Oh, how I missed hanging out with my brothers and sisters. I hope one day, there will be time that the seven of us including my half brother will see again for a gathering or reunion for some sort.
